Sadly, our stay in Queenstown was a short one. We stayed there only one night. Then we hoped on a plane the next day. However, Matt and I can honestly say Queenstown was a beautiful city. Neither of us were surprised when Queenstown, NZ was voted as one of the 25 Most Beautiful Cities in the World by Travel + Leisure in January 2025.

We stayed at the Copethorne Hotel and Resort Queenstown Lakefront. It was a beautiful stay with a fantastic location and we wish we could have stayed here a little longer. We had a lovely view of the Remarkables and Lake Wakatipu. Also, there is easy access to Downtown Queenstown. We walked everywhere Downtown.

Downtown Queenstown was worth the visit! I wish we would have stayed one more day. There is so much to do in Downtown Queenstown. There is lots of high-end shopping, fine art galleries, fine dining, sweet shops, and more.
